The ASATEX® success story began in 1982 with a range of hand protection products. The founder of the GmbH, businessman Carsten Blöcker, demonstrated the right instinct for the market and customers right from the start. The family business quickly developed into a specialising in all matters relating to protective workwear - with a constantly growing product range. Today, ASATEX® is a leading manufacturer of protective clothing and stands for a comprehensive, innovative and responsible approach to the subject of safety and responsible approach to the subject of "protection at the workplace". ASATEX - A family business

In the second generation, the brothers Kai and Ron Blöcker steer the company's activities with a high level of personal commitment and great innovative strength. Born in the Rhineland, they are aware of their great responsibility for the continuation and development of ASATEX®. The focus is on supplying the specialised trade in a trustworthy manner. Highest quality standards and reliability in all areas are therefore the core elements of the company's philosophy.

Committed to sustainability

This also includes making social and economic life sustainable - a decisive factor of ASATEX®'s social responsibility, which is playing an increasingly important role across industries. ASATEX® is a member of the VFI initiative "social-fair" and pursues the approach of complying with and improving social as well as labour standards also in foreign production sites.

On course for growth

With the transformation into a public limited company in 1995, the company moved to its current premises in Bergheim near Cologne, which, in addition to modern, open-plan offices, has a storage area of over 8,500 square metres and a comprehensive, highly efficient high-bay warehouse. Even after the expansion, ASATEX®'s field of activity and conviction remain the same.

ASATEX® has long since become a reliable employer beyond national borders: In Germany, Poland, Albania, Slovakia, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Cambodia and China, the family-owned company manufactures its own high-quality protective workwear for a wide range of applications and industries. The international spread of the production sites also ensures a high degree of flexibility and enables the company to respond to special customer-specific production requests. In the in-house workshops, all cuts are designed by textile designers and engineers and kept up to date with the latest comfort, fashion and technology.

Internationalisation

In addition, further specialist employees were recruited in Great Britain, Poland and the Netherlands to expand the worldwide ASATEX® field service network. The expansion to Spain at wholesale level marks a special milestone: With ASATEX® S. L. as a branch of ASATEX® in Germany, an international team of professionals has been responding to the developments and needs of the Spanish market since 2013 and thus stands for successfully placed as well as competitive products on the European market.
